introduction to datacenters

i was searching in the internet for the datacenters in egypt

i found link.net and tedata.net the biggest data centers in Egypt and there are many small data centers

i asked my self about  building data center and manage it and i decided to  make some researches about it

ok lets start



data center in simple term is a place to house a servers ( servers = computers but with special properties )



its contain :-

1- servers in racks

2- switches and  routers

3-   Air conditioning equipments

4 - power equipments ( like UPS )

5- Network operation center (NOC)

and we will take every one of the above in more details
